Ever wonder why some RV coatings last season after season while others chalk, streak, and fade? The difference is in the chemistry. Duratain’s cross-bonding exterior technology is engineered to create a molecular “bridge” between the coating and the RV’s surface—fiberglass, gelcoat, painted aluminum, even decals. Where many ceramic products only protect painted surfaces and rely on a hard silica shell, that can be brittle on flexible RV substrates, cross-bonding forms multiple anchor points along the surface, then locks into a flexible polymer matrix. The result: a finish that resists UV, bug acids, hard water, and road grime without cracking or lifting as the coach expands, contracts, and flexes.
